Helping More Pets and People Through Community Involvement

We work hard every day to uphold our high standards and continue building on Companion Animal Hospital’s tradition of excellence in veterinary care. However, we also enjoy going out and working side-by-side with our neighbors to promote pet adoption, better treatment for animals, and an overall change in mindset that recognizes the value that pets have in our lives. We do this by participating in various local events and helping to raise funds for area rescues, shelters, and other organizations dedicated to saving lives.

Some of our favorite events include:

  • The Chicagoland Family Pet Expo – Every year, Arlington Heights hosts the Pet Expo, where pet owners and animal enthusiasts alike come together to experience entertainment, view demonstrations, meet dozens of rescue groups, attend puppy training courses, and shop a large variety of pet care products including food, treats, toys, and grooming supplies.
  • The PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run – This event was established to raise funds for animal adoption centers, no-kill shelters, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, TNR programs for feral cats, and much more. Visit the PAWS Chicago website to donate, volunteer, or adopt!
